Hestia TKL Keyboard – Custom Mechanical Keyboard

Inspiration:

• Greek Mythology – Goddess Hestia
• Represents: sacred fire, purity, and the home
• Symbols: hearth, headscarf, and gentleness

Goals:

• Create an aesthetically pleasing design based on user needs

• Collaborate with keycap designers to produce high-quality renderings

Role:

• Product Design:
  Identified user needs, developed product concepts, and planned the design and manufacturing process.

• A breathing backlit sacred flame emblem is featured on the front side of the keyboard.

• A magnetically attached mirrored decorative strip is placed on the rear side to enhance visual identity and brand recognition.

• The back of the keyboard reveals a visible weight, accented with laser-engraved patterns to elevate the overall design aesthetic.

• Typing angle: 7°

• Front height: ~18mm

• Materials: 6063 aluminum, stainless steel

• Manufacturing process: CNC machining → anodizing/electrophoresis → stainless steel PVD coating → laser engraving
